Music for Business in Central America
Programmed background music for hotels, restaurants, shops and chains in Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, managed from one dashboard.
A chain with venues in two or three countries usually has the same problem multiplied: every venue plays what it likes, nobody knows what is playing across the border, and the brand sounds different in every city. Well-programmed background music fixes that from one place.
Guides by country
| Country | The service | The venue's licence |
|---|---|---|
| Costa Rica | Music for business in Costa Rica | Licence basics (ACAM) |
| Panama | Music for business in Panama | Licence basics (SPAC and PRODUCE) |
| Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua | The same service, over the internet with remote support | Each country has its own collecting societies; check with them what applies to your venue |
For Costa Rica we also have specific guides on music for hotels and music for restaurants.
What the service includes
- Music scheduled by time of day. One sound for the morning, another for lunch and another for the evening, down to 15-minute blocks.
- All your venues in one dashboard. Assign a schedule by country, city or zone and change it in real time.
- Each player's local time. Every venue follows its own clock, even across countries.
- Your own announcements. Different promotions per country or branch, with a professional voice.
- Explicit-content filter. A family-safe atmosphere in every venue.
- Plug & play player and remote support. The player connects to the sound system you already have.
The full process is in how Radio Creator works.
Who it is for
- Regional chains of restaurants, shops and supermarkets that want to sound the same in every country.
- Hotel groups with properties in several destinations in the region.
- Franchises that need to hand each franchisee music that is already solved.
- Single-venue businesses that simply want to stop relying on a personal account.
The legal side, in two points
- Personal accounts are not for business. Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music are licensed for personal, private use, and their terms exclude commercial venues in any country.
- The venue's licence depends on the country. Playing music in a place open to the public normally requires a public communication licence, arranged with that country's collecting societies. We cover the basics for Costa Rica and Panama; for other countries, check with the local bodies.
How to start
- Tell us where your venues are. Countries, number of branches and type of business.
- We design your sound. One brand schedule, with the variations each country needs.
- We get it playing. We work out with you the best way to install the player in each venue.
